REASON OF LAS VEGAS

When we talk about casinos the main idea that gets into our mind is "Las Vegas". But do you know exactly the reason of the appearance of Las Vegas?? The construction was by chance?

Of course, in this blog can't miss a little article about Las Vegas. Las Vegas is known as Sin City too because of the gambling, the alcohol during all day and the prostitution. Nowadays, Carolyn Goodman is the president of it.

First of all, Las vegas was Mexican place. In 1855 was when the city was added to USA. There were a lot of springs which were channeled to the city. This was the possibility to stop in it to get water for the trains which were travelling between Los Angeles and Albuquerque.

In 1931, the game was legalized. Here was when the city became famous all over the world. News hotels and casinos were built and a lot of people began to invest on it.

 In 80's Las Vegas weren't attractive for the tourism. In fact, was then, when the big entrepreneurs began to invest and build a lot of infrastructres. Nowadays, we divide the city in Downtown (the center of the city which is not enough recoverd of the "crisis") and Las Vegas Strip which is far from the center.



Nevada is the unique state which let gambling. Many people move to Nevada to gamble in its casino.

But we have to say, that Las Vegas has a lot of competitors and now they are increasing. Actually, now casinos are not the main attraction for the tourist because Las Vegas has built many hotels for family, theme parks for children and they are promouting the commitees. Las Vegas has been forced to search alternatives to be out of its competitors. So, they use rivalry tools as service improvement and new products releases against the competitors
